It really can drastically improve your creativity and productivity. I always loved a minimal industrial feel. Concrete floor was always goals and I personally think it looks great on camera and has a great texture. Ripping out carpet to get that look was pretty intense but I hope you find enjoyment out of seeing the full building process. If you want more DIY vlog style videos let me know and I will make more. Would you go through this to get a concrete look to your floor or is it not worth all that? Check out the full music video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LXSUNKG4BL8 Let me know in the comments if you want more videos like this one. I always loved watching behind the scenes from blockbuster movies like Inception, Jurassic Park, Terminator, just to name a few. I loved the fly on the wall perspective that these unedited more honest takes had. It felt like being on set and spying over the greats in seeing their process. In the spirit of resharing information, I was inspired by that and want to share that same peak behind the curtain with my projects as well. We did an in depth episode explaining and overviewing everything that went into the making of this music video, but this video is very different from that. Let's slow down the pace and join us on set. We'll cover from lighting a large exterior space (in the desert) to rehearsing and shooting with the iPhone 11 Pro Max. A One Take Music Video Shot On iPhone 11 Pro ~ Kriscoart

Today I share how I shot a one take music video on the iPhone 11 Pro The first 1000 people who click the link in the description will get 2 free months of Skillshare Premium: https://skl.sh/kriscoart10 Today I want to share that music video with you as well as the full process of making it. From planning to end and everything in between. This is what it took to make a one take music video in the middle of the desert. With mobile filmmaking rising and tools becoming more and more accessible, filmmakers, musicians, storytellers can now create a cinematic music video with high production value with something that most people have in their pocket. My goal was to also really see how far you can push a modern phone such as the iPhone 11 Pro. In my case I used exactly that, an iPhone 11 Pro Max with the native camera app. Get the film look and capture your style in any way you can. Now smartphones and mobile filmmaking are on a level where you can use them to get serious work done. Huge thanks to the crew that made this happen as well as the amazing music by Biianco. Give her a follow and Subscribe for another music video with a full breakdown coming soon. This music video was shot with the Roadieographer Ultimate Kit. This and a ton of other techniques will be shown right ini After Effects so that you can take these ideas and use them for your own vfx in your music video or short film. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to team up with Dell and Nvidia who gave me a new Precision Workstation with a Quadro 5000 GPU. It really stepped up my work setup and creates a much smoother post-production process. 🙌🏼 In this video, you'll see a full VFX breakdown for "The Answer" music video and how @dell sent over the solution I needed to finish the job. 3 VFX Tricks You MUST Know to FIX IT IN POST

3 Key VFX Tricks that can save your footage and improve your scene. 🚨KRISCOART’S DIGITAL PACKS🚨: https://www.kriscoart.com/marketplace These are my 3 Fix it in post tips that I wanted to pass along to you. It’s always better to not have to resort to fixing things later but it does happen. And anyone that condemns fixing things in post altogether is omitting the reality of filmmaking which when done right means being open to taking risks and making mistakes. Share this video with who you think would find it helpful. And don’t forget to keep watching this series as we are going to expand on every post trick just mentioned with full step by step tutorials. Just click on this Youtube playlist to learn these tricks and more. MUSIC by MUSICBED http://share.mscbd.fm/kriscoart Interested in getting the Adobe After Effects or Premiere Pro? Buy it here: https://goo.gl/eNop8t Here's a quick breakdown of this video's topics: 1 Removing dirt from your lens in After Effects https://youtu.be/Oi6fME4muro This is done with the content aware tool and by using simple masks to surround and select the areas of the frame that have any lens dirt. 2 Using AI to remove compression and noise https://youtu.be/hfU2o4QbOxw By using the latest tools in AI we can clean up footage and restore detail in it that would've been impossible to do not too long ago. 3 Removing unwanted elements from your scene in After Effects https://youtu.be/tSHpuUyuK74 This can be done multiple ways depending on the complexity of the shot. Your first step is to track it. This can be in 2D as in this case or a full 3D camera track for more complex moving shots. Then a layer is created to cover up the unwanted element. This can be done with the content aware fill tool or even as simply as using a solid or image to match the area being covered up. Clone stamping either in Photoshop or directly in After Effects can be useful steps for more challenging areas to cover. 4 Matching the lighting with rotoscoping and color adjustments https://youtu.be/1P3COOWXohY (Older Video but steps apply) This can be doing a day for night look or even subtle touches to match the lighting of two different setups lacking the consistency of the same time of day. This can become apparent when losing light at sunset for example and one side of the coverage of a dialogue is slightly different than the other side which may have been shot directly after. Even when compensating with exposure there are still some avoidable and unavoidable differences that can be cheated to look more consistent and correct to the eye.
